New Supports for Patient Rooms and Ultrasounds at HIMSS21 Booth #6321

We’re excited to be back—in person! —at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas Aug. 10-12 for HIMSS21, the premiere healthcare IT conference in the United States. We have an array of new products, and upgrades to popular ones, that we’ll be showcasing at Booth #6321. We’ll also offer one-on-one consultations with GCX mount experts, so we can discuss individual organization’s needs. Whether replacing an aging fleet of arms or adding new tablet-friendly mobile workstations, we are ready to assist where needed.

Here are just some of the products you can see at the show:

Tablets at the bedside. We’re expanding tablet use for in- and out-patient care with new upgrade kits that fit our VHM-T arms to other over-bed tables, including those made by other providers. These kits, along with our growing group of tablet-ready over-bed tables, bring tablets to patients wherever they may be. Tablets can be used for everything from wayfaring and telemedicine to translation and patient entertainment.

Universal ultrasound cart. Ultrasounds are migrating from cumbersome machines to app-based procedures that require only an off-the-shelf tablet and an ultrasound wand (oh, and Wi-Fi). We have created new accessories to hold gel bottles and ultrasound probes that can attach to any of our tablet roll stands. At HIMSS21 you will be able to see our existing tablet roll stand with a gooseneck mount for optimal tablet use and options for probe and gel holder[s].

Fetal Monitor Workstation. Our popular Fetal Monitor Workstation now has an option with a VHM-25 arm and pull-out keyboard. We’ve also added an optional gel bottle mount to better secure the sonogram liquid when not in use. The workstations also come with dimmable lights for nighttime charting and a versatile work surface for notetaking.

Infusion care area products. Our Compact Patient Over-Bed Table, which is about half the size of our standard table, is among a suite of GCX products for infusion care areas. All products in the infusion care area suite are designed to resist tipping with added equipment and move easily in and out of tight spaces.

In addition to these and other GCX mounting solutions, we’re featuring a “Product Development Corner” where you can talk to GCX product managers about how any of our solutions can be custom configured to work with your medical devices, IT equipment and clinical needs. These experts have decades of experience and can walk you through the array of options. Want to be sure we aren’t busy with other attendees when you’re ready to talk? Then be sure to schedule a one-on-one talk before you arrive.

And if you can’t visit us in person, we’re available to talk by phone or videoconferencing software to make sure you have the right supports to best serve your patients and providers alike.
